The Multisensory Brain and Cognition Laboratory’s mission is: to reveal the neural, cognitive, and behavioral processes involved in multisensory integration and human-technology interactions that ultimately guide human perception, cognition, and action in real, virtual and artificially intelligent created environments. Using this as a foundation, we assess human performance in the normal and aging brain, as well as in individuals with disease and damage. By employing a multidisciplinary approach, we strive to advance the scientific understanding of the computational principles underlying brain function and dysfunction and we aim to contribute significantly to the understanding of human perception, cognition, and action in an increasingly interconnected and technology-driven world.
