I am a BSc student at the University of Waterloo in the Biology Co-op program. I am very interested in the intersection between the function of sensitive markers and emerging technologies like AI, and how we can use these technologies to accelerate training programs/rehabilitation efforts.
I am a KIN 391 research assistantship student, I am interested in exploring the potential of virtual reality in supporting cognitive and neural rehabilitation for individuals with cognitive and neurological impairments. In particular, I am interested in the area of cognitive neurorehabilitation of acquired speech and cognitive disorders.
I am a BSc Psychology candidate assisting in the MBCLab. My research interests involve the clinical applications of artificial intelligence and virtual reality to unlock new insights into the workings of the brain and develop more effective interventions for neurological and psychiatric disorders.
I am a BHSc student at Queen's University volunteering this summer in the MBCLab. I am interested in utilizing artificial intelligence and virtual reality technology to evaluate aging and temporal multisensory processing.
I am a BSc Health Studies candidate completing KIN 391 in the lab this spring term. My favourite course I have completed so far in my undergraduate degree is KIN 312, Introduction to Neurological Disorders. This course has led me to get involved in the MBC lab this spring to continue to explore this area and gain some research experience before applying to grad school in the fall.
I hope to be involved in the Aging Sensory Processing studies as I am interested in working with older adults in the future.
I am a Bsc candidate doing a research apprenticeship in the MBCLab this summer. I am interested in analyzing the effects virtual reality can have on the brain and the responses that can be evoked by certain virtual experiences.
